Park Hill Commons Announces New Local Businesses Going into Development at Community Event

Denver, CO – September 27, 2019 – Park Hill Commons, a new mixed-use community in the Park Hill neighborhood that will include townhomes, micro apartments, micro retail space, a coworking space, and restaurants, recently held a community event and announced four of their new tenants.

“We were excited to host a community event at Long Table Brewhouse earlier this month where more than 120 neighbors attended,” said Nina Khosravi, Director of Community for Park Hill Commons. “We participated in Park Hill Collective Impact’s community discussion beforehand and it was a great opportunity for our new tenants and HM Capital Group to discuss what it means to be a good neighbor with long standing residents of Park Hill. At the community event at Long Table, our team was able to connect with local Park Hill residents and answer questions about Park Hill Commons. We also got feedback from locals on what they would like to see go into PHC and were pleased with the responses.”

Five new local businesses will be opening at Park Hill Commons in the summer of 2020, bringing exciting new amenities to the neighborhood. The Knotty Kids Salon, Body In Motion Chiropractic, Seto Family Dentistry, Olivet Salon, and a previously announced new Sexy Pizza location.

Body In Motion Chiropractic provides comprehensive chiropractic rehabilitation care in Denver. The practice is dedicated to the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, and to promoting the continued health of each patient.

“Our original office is located inside the Runner’s Roost store on Colorado Boulevard where we provide chiropractic care as well as running technique sessions and wellness services. Our second location, which will be located in Park Hill Commons, will expand on these services by also allowing us to offer targeted small group strength training completing the bridge from injury back to optimal performance,” said Justin Dukes, DC, CSCS of Body In Motion.

According to Meghan Dukes, CD, MSPT, “We have lived in Park Hill for 11 years and have been working for the past three years to find an office location in the neighborhood. We love that Park Hill is such an active community and have long felt that our business services and goals match perfectly with this population.”

Seto Family Dentistry is also moving into Park Hill Commons.  “I looked at many different neighborhoods for a location that not only seemed like a good fit for me, but somewhere that felt like home, somewhere I can make a difference and have a positive impact on the community,” said Dr. Angelica Seto. “I was immediately drawn to Park Hill, as it is a very close and tight-knit community full of families, which is important to me because I enjoy treating both adults and children alike. I look forward to establishing myself in this wonderful community, where I can truly be a family dentist.”

The third new Park Hill Commons business is The Knotty Kids Salon, a salon specializing in children’s haircuts. “For The Knotty Kids Salon, we wanted that small, tight community feel where everyone supports each other and we are able to give back to the community. Park Hill is full of history and families who have been there for generations and we love that,” said Shary Zampert of The Knotty Kids Salon. “We never want to be in a big strip mall type location. We want to be part of a neighborhood family – be the place your kids get their first haircut and continue coming back year after year because we are part of your lives.”

An adult hair salon is also preparing to call Park Hill Commons home. “I am thrilled to be returning to Park Hill to open my salon, Olivet. The name comes from the street I grew up on and it reminds me of the roots of who I am,” said Mindy Verdecchio, the owner of Olivet Salon. “I worked as a stylist in Park Hill for 12 years before going out on my own to open a small shop. I have always loved the people and continue to stay connected through clients and friends here. It feels like home to me and I am honored to be a part of it.”

Park Hill Commons is excited for these local businesses to join the close-knit neighborhood and give residents access to a variety of close-by amenities. For more information about Park Hill Commons, please visit http://parkhillcommons.com/.
